GCSE & A-Level Tutoring by Dina ("we", "us") is a UK-based online tutoring business operated by Dina Daniel. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect information about parents and students who contact us or book lessons.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address.
  • Booking details: whether you are a parent or student, level, year group, subject(s), exam board, current and target grade.
  • Notes you choose to share about your child's needs or circumstances.
  • Messages you send via WhatsApp, phone, email or our contact form.

How we use it

  • To arrange and deliver lessons, assessments and homework feedback.
  • To send parent progress notes and respond to your enquiries.
  • To keep basic records needed to provide a tutoring service.

Legal basis

We process your information on the basis of taking steps at your request to provide a service (contract), and our legitimate interest in running a tutoring business. We do not use your data for unrelated marketing.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share information where necessary to provide the service (for example, a platform used to host live lessons) or where required by law.

Storage and retention

Information is stored securely and kept only for as long as needed to provide the service and meet record-keeping obligations. Lesson recordings, where made, are only created with parent permission and are deleted when no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to its use. To exercise any right, contact Dina using the details below.
