Hi, I'm Dina
I'm a qualified teacher with QTS and a PGCE. I got A*A*A at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, Grade 9s at GCSE, and a Neuroscience degree from the University of Birmingham.
For over seven years I've helped UK students through their GCSEs and A-Levels — in classrooms and online, in small groups of no more than 8, or one-to-one.
I set up GCSE & A-Level Tutoring by Dina because parents kept telling me the same thing: they could find plenty of tutors, but most were university students reading from a textbook…
They wanted an actual qualified teacher — someone who knows the specifications, the mark schemes and how the exams are marked — at a price that didn't require a second mortgage. So that's what I offer: live lessons taught by me, in small groups of no more than 8, or one-to-one if your child prefers.
I teach exam technique first because that's where most marks are quietly lost. A student can know the content cold and still drop a grade because they misread a command word, ran out of time, or wrote a perfectly correct answer that didn't match the mark scheme. We fix that every week — with marked homework, timed past papers and a monthly mock — so the real exam feels like just another practice.
